If you took Advanced Placement (AP) exams in high school and earned a score of 3 or higher, you earned college credit for the exam. An official transcript has to be sent to SRJC from College Board for this credit to be applied to your records.

As a transfer student, it is important to understand how AP credit is used for courses in a major at each school on your college list. Often, a score of 4 or 5 is needed to be deemed "equivalent" to a specific course.
Please view the following CSUs and UCs below for their transferability of AP scores, and work with a counselor to have your specific questions answered.
