I study English at Sonoma State University. Connections changed my entire life, as first generation low income student it made me realize I had a chance and I could pursue my dreams through higher education. If I could give any advice, it would be to ask questions and utilize your resources. Don’t listen to that voice that says you don’t belong. Listen to the ones who believe in you and know that anything is possible.
