UC Transfer Admission Guarantee

Six UC campuses offer guaranteed admission to California community college students who meet specific requirements. Students can TAG to one campus and if all requirements are met, they are guaranteed admission to that campus. Students also need to complete the UC application by the designated deadline.

Follow these steps to complete the Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG):

STEPS ACTIVITIES
STEP ONE:

Review the TAG Requirements webpage on the Transfer Center website for the university with which you would like to TAG

STEP TWO:

Attend a TAG workshop in September

  • View TAG Workshop Schedule or check the Calendar
  • Gather copies of all transcripts (SRJC and other colleges/universities) and bring to the workshop session.
STEP THREE:

Complete TAG application online.

  • Applications must be submitted September 1-30.
STEP FOUR: Check e-mail on a regular basis to respond to the SRJC TAG Reviewer’s requests for additional information if you TAG to UC Davis.
STEP FIVE: Apply to the University of California system during the priority application period by November 30.
